WorldTech conducted an experiment to see how much time computer users can save by using a combination of shortcut commands and the computer mouse, as opposed to only using the mouse. A scenario was repeated several times using both methods. Time savings ranged from 38% to 50%, with an average about 43%.! Shortcut command and icon enhancements are laser etched onto the keyboard as an integral part of the manufacturing process; they are not after market add-ons like stickers or labels.
