The Axiom 49 from M-Audio is a velocity sensitive, forty-nine key USB/MIDI keyboard controller, with a semi-weighted action and assignable aftertouch. Programming is very easy using the dedicated front-panel keypad and large backlit LCD. Virtually all the controls are user assignable, and there are twenty user memory locations for saving the setup of the controller. The Axiom 49 further expands it usefulness with nine assignable sliders for controlling things like track levels in a sequencer, etc. A numeric keypad is also included for speeding up the entry of any editable values in any software.
