The Aspex Accelera 3000 PCI-X MPEG-2 Encoder Card from BlueFish444 is a hardware MPEG-2 encoder card. The card installs in an available PCI-X slot, and can be used to add hardware accelerated encoding to compatible applications. It is capable of encoding a single stream of HD video in real-time. It can also encode multiple streams of SD video in real-time.
• Software Compatibility
The encoder card is compatible with computers that use Windows XP. It can be used with many popular software applications. These include Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas, MainConcept MPEG-2 Encoder, Digital Rapids StreamZ, Sorenson Squeeze, Autodesk Cleaner XL, Adobe Encore, and Sonic DVDit.

MPEG-2 is the standard video compression format for DVD disc. It can also be used to encode media for delivery on HD DVD and Blu-ray discs.
