The impOSCar from GForce is a reproduction of the classic OSCar synthesizer built by the Oxford Synthesizer Company in England. The original synthesizer was a unique breed in its time, used by artists that include Stevie Wonder, Billie Currie, BT, Keith Emerson and Geoff Downes. Its digital oscillators with Additive Wave Matrix combined with analog filters gave it the capability of delivering amazing sounds. Few of these units ever made it across the Atlantic to the US.
This legendary vintage synthesizer has been faithfully reproduced to the last detail, along with some innovations. The software version of the impOSCar features user programmable waveforms, built-in effects, polyphony and programmability. Also included is a unique, easy-to-use interface for mapping MIDI Continuous Controllers to its programming controls.
